Webinar: How to facilitate a safe return to the workplace
Governments and businesses are designing strategies to gradually exit lockdown and have employees returning to the workplace, with some countries and industries having made the first moves.
Global employers will need to consider how the transition can be carried out best.
During this webinar that took place on 28 April, a group of Freshfields lawyers from around Europe and Asia discussed how to facilitate a safe return to the workplace, looking at when the return will take place (gradual re-opening?), how it will happen (eg team split, social distancing, protection gear etc), who will return (eg employees and visitors screening, how to deal with employee’s refusal to come back to the workplace) and on what terms (including business travel and annual leave policies, extended probation periods etc).
Our speakers addressed these hot topics in light of the recent experience coming from China.
