Event

Women in Arbitration and International Law

On 19 October 2019, the third Freshfield’s Women in Arbitration and International Law breakfast event will take place on the fantastic rooftop terrace of the 25 Hours Hotel, Vienna. The specific topic of the event is: “The ABC of Women in Arbitration – Authentic, Balanced, Committed”.

We will have a panel of three prominent female lawyers, Lucy Greenwood, Catherine Kessedjian and Ioana Knoll-Tudor to provide an insight into their personal experiences, the challenges they have faced and continue to face and how, in their opinion, the goal of parity can best be achieved. In addition on the panel, Àine Morgan-Bauer, Life Coach will give an outsider perspective on how parity can be achieved. The panel will be moderated by Niamh Leinwather, Freshfields, Vienna.

Our Key Note speaker is Dana Denis-Smith, CEO of Obelisk Support and the First100Years project who will give an insight into where women have come from in the last 100 years and where we are going. The event is always concluded by a lively debate.
