Freshfields London Women's Network celebrates…Helena Morrissey DBE
The Freshfields London Women’s Network (LWN) is delighted to host the first event in its new “LWN Celebrates" speaker series: an evening with City superstar and founder of the 30% Club, Helena Morrissey DBE, on 28 June 2018. The LWN Celebrates” speaker series marks 275 years of Freshfields and 100 years since women in the UK got the right to vote. Throughout the year the LWN will be inviting inspirational women to share their personal and professional experiences.
About Helena
Helena Morrissey is Head of Personal Investing at Legal & General Investment Management, which has £894 billion of assets under management. In 2010, she established the 30% Club to campaign for greater female representation on company boards. In her first book, A Good Time to be a Girl, she sets out her manifesto for how we might achieve the next big breakthrough towards a truly inclusive modern society. Helena makes a compelling case for encouraging diversity in the workplace, creating a sense of urgency, and bringing men with us in achieving gender equality.
The event will be followed by a drinks reception and networking. The LWN is delighted to offer guests a copy of Helena's book.
