Freshfields Seminar Vienna: Inside Brazil - opportunities and challenges

Freshfields seminar in Vienna on the 23 of May 2017 on the topic "Inside Brazil - opportunities and challenges"

On the 23 of May 2017 the Freshfields office in Vienna invites to the seminar "Inside Brazil - opportunities and challenges". We are grateful to host this event in collaboration with the Embassy of Brazil in Vienna.

Following what we have seen in Brazil in the last couple of months, this seminar will focus on the current hot topics around tax (double taxation agreement and current developments), corporate and finance, restructuring, best practice around international arbitration and cross-border disputes as well as news on short and long term opportunities in Brazil across several sectors like energy, infrastructure and healthcare.

Freshfields has 20 partners and 24 associates in 19 offices, across sectors and practice groups, focused on work in Brazil and for Brazilian companies. Many speak Portuguese and several are Brazilian or Brazilian-qualified. We have the largest and most diversified ‘Brazil-focused’ offering of any international law firm. Freshfields can serve as the ideal bridge between the two jurisdictions helping them understand the key local legal, commercial and cultural issues.
